140 members of the Swiss Association for Refrigeration Technology (SVK) gathered in Hitzkirch for the annual general meeting. REFCO and its sister company, WIKA Schweiz AG, were proud to host this significant industry event.
In the early afternoon of May 2, 2024, this year's General Assembly of the Swiss Association for Refrigeration Technology (SVK) kicked off with record attendance at REFCO and its sister company, WIKA Schweiz AG. Around 140 industry professionals and decision-makers gathered in Hitzkirch for this special occasion.
After a brief welcome, CEOs Benno Brinlinger (REFCO) and Andreas Kolb (WIKA Schweiz AG) gave an informative company presentation to start off the event. Following that, the participants were divided into groups and taken on tours of the various facilities of REFCO and WIKA Schweiz.
The interest in gaining insight into the inner workings of both companies was immense. Participants were particularly impressed by the scale of manufacturing and the range of products made at the Hitzkirch site in Switzerland.
After the factory tours, the official part of the General Assembly began, during which important association matters and projects were discussed. Following this, during the subsequent aperitif, there was a festive atmosphere, and participants as well as hosts took the opportunity to engage in discussions about industry topics and current developments.
To conclude, REFCO surprised all attendees with a bag full of delicious chocolates and other REFCO souvenirs.
The SVK is a collaborative platform within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. It represents the interests of refrigeration technicians, refrigeration specialist companies, wholesalers, as well as manufacturers, focusing on their needs. The association supports its members in technical, economic, and ecological matters. Furthermore, it promotes refrigeration professions and offers comprehensive training opportunities.
The General Assembly in Hitzkirch was an enriching experience for all involved. REFCO looks forward to continuing to support the SVK as a member and actively contributing to the positive development of the industry.
